One of our goals is to make the experience of going solar as simple as possible. In order to do so, we developed a framework for the process to keep you on track.
- It all starts with a call, where you can ask questions about the process and also determine what type of solar energy system best suits your situation. We can schedule a site visit for us to complete a site analysis to prepare a proposal.
- During the site visit, our representative will survey your site: we will do shading analysis, check potential solar array locations, and gather additional energy data and any specific building characteristics, and document everything using a digital camera for further analysis. Any additional question or concerns you may have can be asked during this step; our well-trained representative will have your every need in mind. With few exceptions, we can provide a rough estimate while our representative is on site. If not, we will deliver a completed estimate via email or conventional mail.
- Once all is clear and you are satisfied with our quote, we sign a contract and the actual work begins. At this point we collect payments for permits and applications that vary from town to town. A payment schedule will be provided with the contract.
- When all permits are obtained and rebates are secured, it’s time to purchase equipment. We will collect a second payment for equipment and materials; soon after, building materials will be delivered to your site.
- Our installation crew will arrive and complete the installation. Typical residential or small commercial installations take no more than 4-5 days.
- After installation is completed and the system is commissioned, all inspectors will complete their inspections, and the system will be activated. This is the time for a final paperwork sign off and payment.
- You will be now be enjoying your new solar energy system.
This is a general structure of our process and should not to be used for individual planning purposes. Each client will receive a detailed explanation, time frame and payment schedule with a contract.
